A number of people killed, others injured a sit-in square southern Iraq

Shafaq News / An official security source revealed on Tuesday that a fight erupted in Al- Habboubi sit-in square in the center of Nasiriyah, the local capital of Dhi Qar Governorate, southern Iraq, killing two people and wounding another.

“A fight occurred in Al- Habboubi sit-in at dawn today causing the death of two people and the injury of another, indicating that the injured person was taken to hospital and his condition is critical”, the source told Shafaq News Agency.

“Two men stormed the sit-in square and started attacking one of the people in Al-Haboubi Square, after which the brother of attacked person arrived , shot the attackers, wounded one person and killed two without knowing other details,” the source added.
