Public servants demonstrate near the Ministry of Electricity headquarters in Baghdad

Shafaq News/ Dozens of the Ministry of Electricity employees organized a demonstration near the front gates of the Ministry headquarters in Baghdad.

Shafaq News Agency correspondent said that the demonstrators chanted slogans and held banners demanding equal treatment to their colleagues in other ministries who were granted permanent contracts pursuant to resolution 315.

In September 2019, the Iraqi government approved resolution 315 that stipulated granting contracts to daily wagers who worked for at least a year in public service.
