Muthanna al-Samarrai casts his ballot in Iraq’s parliamentary elections

Muthanna al-Samarrai, head of the Azm (Determination) Party cast his ballot on Tuesday in Iraq’s parliamentary elections.

After voting, al-Samarrai called on Iraqis to participate widely, describing the election as “a decisive moment for reform and national balance.” He said the process represents an opportunity to “restore effective governance and fair representation for all Iraqis.”

The Azm Party is fielding around 300 candidates across most Sunni-majority provinces, with concentrated campaigns in Baghdad, Diyala, Kirkuk, Mosul, Ramadi, and Saladin.
