First US Position of the Turkish air strikes

Shafaq News / An official at the US State Department said, on Wednesday, the United States does not have all the details about the Turkish air strikes on northern Iraq, and it is "engaged with the two parties to obtain more information."

"The United States offers its sincere condolences to the families of the victims, the Iraqi security forces, and to any innocent Iraqi citizen who was killed in this tragic incident," the US official added, according to Washington-funded Al-Hurra TV.

Earlier, an attack, which occurred via a Turkish drone, left 20 people dead, including General Muhammad Rashid, commander of the Second Brigade, and General Zubair Hali, commander of the third regiment in the Iraqi Border Guards.
