Deputy governor of Diyala contracts COVID-19

Shafaq News / A medical source in Diyala said today that the deputy governor tested positive for COVID-19.
The source told Shafaq News agency that the results of laboratory results confirmed today that deputy Governor of Diyala governorate, Muhammad Qutaiba Al-Bayati, contracted the Novel Coronavirus that causes COVID-19 disease.
The source added, "Al-Bayati is receiving the necessary treatments to recover from the virus".
Dozens of government and security figures in Diyala have caught COVID-19 over the past months; some of them passed away from its complications.
