An Iraqi brigadier passed away after contracting COVID-19

Shafaq News / The Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced today, Sunday, that a brigadier general lost his battle against COVID-19.
"Brigadier Abdul Salam Abed Ali, who is an police officer of Ramadi Teaching Hospital police station, passed away today, after contracting COVID-19", the ministry said in a statement.
The Iraqi Ministry of Health registered yesterday, 64 fatalities, 2095 new cases and 1841 recoveries of COVID-19 in 24 hours.
