Al-Zaidi appoints former lawmaker as an advisor

Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi has appointed former lawmaker Hadi al-Salami as an adviser on border crossings, customs and transportation, an informed source told Shafaq News on Wednesday.
The prime minister’s office had not yet clarified the duties and powers assigned to al-Salami under the appointment, the source added.
