Al-Anbar operations command launches a new security campaign

Shafaq News / The Security Media Cell announced today that al-Anbar Operations Command had launched a security operation to comb and inspect areas southeast of Trebil and Karma Island.
The cell said in a statement that the operation aims to arrest wanted persons, check on families, remove the war remnants, and enhance security and stability.
Based on intelligence information, the forces seized ammunition in Zankoura area, district in Ramadi district.
According to the statement, a force from the 1st regiment in the 28th Infantry Brigade of the Tenth Division, managed to find 16 projectiles of various types and an explosive device, all belonging to ISIS terrorists.
