600 000 foreign visitors crossed Shalamcha border to Karbala

Shafaq News/ The Iranian Foreign Ministry official announced that 40 thousand foreign visitors have crossed Shalmajeh border (southwestern Iran) since the beginning of Safar month so far to participate in the march of the al-Arbaeen religious visit in Iraq.

Alireza Ghoroei, director general of foreign nationals and immigrants at the Iranian Foreign Ministry, said that the majority of foreign visitors were from Azerbaijan, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

 More than 600 thousand Iranian and foreign visitors went to Iraq through Shalmajeh border since the beginning of Safar month   within 13 days to participate in Arbaeen visit in Iraq.

It is noteworthy that the Iranian visitors to Iraq come through four border crossings, which are Chathaba  and Shalmajeh in Khuzestan province , Mehran province in Ilam and Khasrawi in Kermanshah province.
