6 years in prison for a woman who hid a suicide bomber named "Abu Maha" in Baghdad
Shafaq News / The Central Criminal Court at the Presidency of Baghdad’s Appeal, Rusafa Federal, issued a 6-year prison sentence against a woman who had hidden a terrorist.
A statement issued by the media center of the Supreme Judicial Council said, " convicted confessed of receiving a suicide bomber named Abu Maha and getting with him in a car bomb near al-Shaab checkpoint in order to remove suspicion of him after he was planning to carry out a suicide operation in order to achieve terrorist goals."
The statement added that "the convicted admitted that she and her husband belonged to the ranks of the so-called Islamic State of Iraq," noting that "the court issued its verdict against the convict in accordance with the provisions of Article 4/2 of the Anti-Terrorism Law No. 13 of 2005."
