Basra oil reduces crude production in a field

Shafaq News / Al- Iraqiya News Agency reported on Sunday that Basra Oil Company will reduce the production of crude in Nahr bin Omar field to a minimum due to pollution and gas emissions.

The general manager of the company, Ihsan Abdul Jabbar  said, “Nahr bin Omar field is the most controversial field on emissions and gases, as it was decided to reduce the production of crude oil to a minimum and stop operating all oil wells in it in order to provide environmental protection.”
