CBI sales in the foreign currency auction bounces after yesterday's drop

Shafaq News/ The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) sales in the currency auction amounted to about $216 million today.
Shafaq News Agency correspondent reported that CBI sales settled at $228,560,634, %5.56 above Thursday's closure at $216,426,634. The weighted average rate of the U.S. dollar against the Iraqi dinar was specified at 1 to 1460.
Our correspondent explained that 17 banks and 11 companies cashed out $36.24 millions, while the $192,320,240 went to boost funds abroad in the form of non-cash and credit transactions, with 35 banks meeting those requests.
