Basrah Crude falls amid global market downturn

Shafaq News/ Basrah crude oil prices slipped on Thursday, tracking a broader decline in global oil markets.
Basrah Heavy crude fell 4.71% to $61.26 per barrel, while Basrah Medium dropped 4.49% to $64.41.
The downturn followed losses in international benchmarks. Brent crude futures were down 59 cents, or 1%, at $60.47 a barrel by 08:22 GMT. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude fell 65 cents, or 1.1%, to $57.56.
